The 2023 LLLP conference theme, Blazing New Trails, is inspired by our majestic Rocky Mountains, which are steadfast in inspiration and determination.
LLLP 2023 will focus on climbing the mountain of learning together, simultaneously blazing new trails for our profession and successors.

Sub Theme #1: BASE CAMP – Teaching and Learning Essentials
This theme will review various teaching and learning efforts/methodologies, including adult learning principles, curricular/instructional design, assessment of and for learning, and interprofessional education.
Sub Theme #2: CARABINEERS, CLIPS & CAIRNS – Tools of the Climb
This theme explores learning approaches that use technology and new tools to enhance learning, both in the classroom and in practice.
Sub Theme #3: ELEVATION – Gaining Ground Through Training
This theme explores the question of how we are moving the profession forward through teaching and learning. Topics may include strategies for developing self-directed lifelong learners, practice-based learning or advanced training, or other initiatives to support pharmacy professionals in their career progression.
Sub Theme #4: SUMMIT – Transformation of Practice Through Learning
This theme explores the impact of learning on pharmacy practice, patient and community health. Topics may include efforts toward practice change or workforce development, measurable systems-based or public health outcomes, or organizational return on investment of education and training.
