We are so honored and excited to have been selected as the hosts for the 2023 LLLP conference. This conference brings together two of my own personal passions, lifelong learning and international collaborations. The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy also has a strong commitment and dedication to lifelong learning and international collaborations. The education sessions and networking that LLLP provides is by far some of the best conference experiences in my career.
Although we have big shoes to fill from past hosts of LLLP, we are confident that LLLP 2023 will continue the trend of being an outstanding conference. We are thrilled to showcase our wonderful state and city, Denver, Colorado and feel it is an ideal location for an impactful conference. Denver is Colorado’s capital and largest city and one of America’s fastest growing cities due to its eclectic style, ecofriendly footprint and access to the great outdoors. Denver’s nickname is the “Mile High City” because its official elevation is exactly one mile above sea level, 5,280 feet (1609 meters). With an average of 300 days of sunshine and located along the front range of the Rocky Mountains, Denver is a picturesque city surrounded by beautiful scenery and easy access to some of the best skiing, natural hot springs and mountain climbing in the world. Colorado’s mountain range is six times the size of Switzerland, comprises 54 peaks and is home to four National Parks.
The 2023 LLLP conference theme, Blazing New Trails, was inspired by our majestic Rocky Mountains, which are steadfast in inspiration and determination. Just like the millions of adventure seekers that visit our mountains to gain new perspective and approach, we plan to focus LLLP 2023 on climbing the mountain of learning together. Join us as we blaze new trails in lifelong learning at the 2023 LLLP conference July 2-5th in Denver Colorado, USA.
